1) A few weeks before your due date, you need to prepare a bag to carry with you to the hospital.

Here is the web-link I referenced for preparing the hospital bag

2) You need to confirm your medical insurance and find out the procedures for reporting to them after you have the baby.

3) You also need to find a Pediatrician for your baby. The pediatrician will come to the hospital to exam your baby for the first time within the first couple of days after the baby is born.

4) Get the hospital's phone number and your OB's phone number ready, especially know what number to call if it is after the hour.

Be prepared at least a month before your due date as the baby could come out earlier than you expected.

Any other tips from others?
