Winter Wonderland Children's Ball @ Stepping Stones  Museum
When: Saturday Feb 21, 2015 6-8:30pm
Details: Stepping Stones transforms into a snow-kissed wonderland to welcome little princes and princesses for a magical evening. Dress up in your finest, learn how to swing dance with Paolo & Laurentina, enjoy “cool” activities and more. Activities include "Ice Cube Fishing," a fun science project and of course our hallmark "Paparazzi" walk down the purple carpet. Come hungry and enjoy a "candlelit" dinner with your very special dates in our cafe, which will be transformed for this magical evening, complete with fresh table linens and centerpieces. Choose from two entrees and two sides, plus every dinner is served with a vegetable medley. Desert Under Glass @ Wave Hill
Where: Wave Hill Garden, Bronx, NY
When: Saturday Feb 21, 2015 10am-1pm
Details: Go on a visit to Wave Hill’s Cactus and Succulent House—housed in one wing of the Marco Polo Stufano Conservatory—and leave winter behind. Spend some time sketching and painting our exotic desert dwellers, then, using sand and tempera paint, make a desert mirage. Free, and admission to the grounds is free until noon.

Finding and Feeding Winter Birds @ Greenburgh Nature Center
When: Saturday Feb 21, 2015 2pm
Where: Greenburgh Nature Center, Scarsdale, NY
Details: Join us on a winter walk to learn what birds in our area like to eat and where they find shelter. The walk includes a visit to the Birds of Prey Aviary and busy bird feeders, as well as a search for our more elusive feathered friends. FREE for members, Non-members $8/person

Family Story Time and Crafts @ Rye Library
When: Saturday Feb 21, 2015  11am-12pm
Details: Children (ages 3.5 and older) listen to age-appropriate stories and participate in fun games, rhymes and other activities to develop preliteracy skills and an interest in books and reading.  Felt boards and other props are sometimes used to enhance stories and model future classroom experience.  A fun craft project is designed around the Story Time's theme or a seasonal topic.  Parents and caregivers are asked to assist younger children using scissors, glue and other art materials.  60 minutes.

Library Obstacle Course @ Larchmont Library
When: Saturday Feb 21, 2015 11am
Details:  kids ages 3 & 4 can get their wiggles out!  Registration required. “Come experience the Big Tunnel of Awesomeness as we run the library obstacle course and brush up on gross motor skills.”

Maple Sugaring @ Rye Nature Center
When: Saturday Feb 21, 2015 1pm
Details: “Tap a tree the old fashion way! Learn how maple trees produce sap and get a peek at the sugaring process in the Rye Nature Center's own sugaring shed. Please call to reserve your places. Members Free, $5/non-members.”

Winter Farm Letterboxing Trail @ Stamford Nature Center
When: Saturday Feb 21, 2015 9am-5pm
Details: Get rid of the winter blues by participating in our new farm letterboxing challenge! Visit some of our favorite places and animals on Heckscher Farm while searching for hidden letterboxes using our clues. Starting information can be picked up at the Stamford Museum Building Members: Free | Non-Members: Free with gate admission.

Sunday Activities:
Detective Hike @ Westmoreland Sanctuary
When: Sunday Feb 22, 2015 11am
Details: Join Westmoreland Sanctuary staff on a hike through the woods as we try to discover what is out.  We will try to unravel the mysteries that surround our natural world.  Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring plenty water to drink. $5 per person for non-members and free for members.

Maple Sugaring @ Greenburgh Nature Center
When: Sunday Feb 22, 2015 2pm
Details: Come learn the simple steps of how to make your own maple syrup. Dress for outdoors. Members $5/person, Non-Members $8/person. Limited enrollment. BOOK NOW online to hold your place.”

Cambuyon @ New Victory Theater

Where: The New Victory Theater, 42nd St, New York
Details: A kids' Show for ages 6+ from The Canary Islands & Barcelona, Spain. When it comes to making instruments out of everyday objects, anything goes for the charismatic cast of CAMBUYÓN. Wooden crates, recycled glass bottles and even a small matchbox find new life in the hands and feet of this energetic ensemble. Through body percussion, tap dance, hip hop and drumming, these performers trade robust beats and cultural cadences to form unique rhythms with African, Irish, Spanish and American influences. Part dance, part music and every part exuberant, CAMBUYÓN makes the ordinary extraordinary.

Camelot @ Westchester Broadway Theatre
When: Every weekend till April 5, 2015

Playland Skating rink has open skating on Saturday 1:30-2:45 & 3-5 and Sunday, 1:30-3:45. Other nearby rinks are Westchester Skate Academy in Elmsford, Hommocks in Larchmont and Dorothy Hammil in Greenwich.
