Easter Egg Hunt @ Stamford Nature Center
When: Saturday April 8 10-noon
Details: Children ages six and younger bring their own baskets and hunt for hundreds of eggs that will be hidden all over Heckscher Farm. The gates to the Farm will open at 10 am, and eggs will be distributed throughout the two-hour event. Once a participant has collected a minimum of five eggs, they can be turned in for a goodie bag.

Excellent Eggs at Overbrook @ Stamford Nature Center
When: Saturday, April 8, 10 am - 12:30 pm.
Details: Stop in to Heckscher WILD! and Overbrook Nature Center to celebrate other animals that lay eggs. Discover the special eggs of salamanders, why bird eggs come in different shapes and colors, and meet some of our egg-laying snakes. At 12:30 pm join a live "Egg-laying Animals" class in Overbrook to meet a chicken, snake, and more!

Details: Learn how bees play an important role in pollination. Children will get a chance to make their own cup of herbal tea in our garden, ending the afternoon with a tea party! Suggested for ages 5 to 8 years old. $5/person members, $8/person non-members.”

Great Green Egg-travaganza @ Scarsdale
When: Sunday April 9 2017 11-3pm
Where: Greenburgh Nature Center
Details: Join us for a day of egg-themed games and activities, including our environmentally-friendly, nature-inspired egg hunt. Egg hunts schedule will be at 11:00AM-12:00PM, 12:00PM-1:00PM, 1:00PM-2:00PM, & 2:00PM-3:00PM. Turn in your found eggs for treats! Also enjoy seasonal crafts, animal presentations, guided nature walks through our Native Plant Meadow, and an eggs-hibit of eggs from all kinds of animals. Early registration, before April 9: $5 members, $10 non-members. Day of event: $8 members, $15 non-members. Event held rain or shine.

Science Sunday @ Bruce Museum
When: Sunday April 9 2017 1-3pm
Where: Bruce Museum, Greenwich, CT
Details: This is a “drop-in program designed for children aged 4 and up and their families. Participants will explore simple science concepts and subjects while partaking in fun, kid-friendly experiments, projects and crafts inspired by the Museum’s collections and exhibitions. This program is free with general admission and no advance registration is required.

Easter Bunny @ White Plains

Details: Visit with the Easter Bunny and receive Easter eggs. Enjoy face painting, contests and prizes and dancing and games with Sparkle Girls and the Easter Bunny.
