Details: Free Kids Workshop. Join hands-on workshop where you and your child can build a flower pot to hold spring flowers to keep or give to Mom. Once the project is complete, your child can paint their project to personalize it.

Raptors of Westchester @ Greenburgh Nature Center

Where: Greenburgh Nature Center, Scarsdale, NY
Details: Meet the Greenburgh Nature Center’s birds of prey with a naturalist and discover what makes these magnificent creatures the hunters of the sky. This event includes a visit to the outdoor bird aviary to feed our majestic Bald Eagles, Red Tailed Hawks and Great Horned Owl. $5 for members and $8 for non-members

Outdoor Adventures @ Stamford Nature Center

Details: “Explore the world of our native weasels and have an opportunity to interact with our own wild weasels, ferrets and otters. We'll start with a short show on Connecticut's weasel species, from fishers to ermine, and then break up into two groups to have a chance to create enrichment for our otters and an obstacle course for our ferrets in Heckscher WILD! Limited enrollment of 20 people. Recommended for ages 5 and older.”

Sunday Explorers @ Stamford Nature Center

Details: “Our popular Sunday drop-in programs return for the Spring season. Join us for a weekly hike on our nature trails or to meet and feed some of our Heckscher WILD! animals. Bicycle Sundays
When: May 7 10am-2pm
Where: Bronx River Parkway.
Details: During Bicycle Sundays, the parkway is open exclusively for bicyclists, joggers, walkers, foot scooters and strollers from Exit 22 at the Westchester County Center to Exit 4 at Scarsdale Road in Yonkers, a round-trip distance of 13 miles.
