Details: Playland opens for the season this weekend. On Mother's Day,
May 14th, Moms Ride Free! $15 Rides Admission for everyone else.

Sheep Shearing @ Muscoot Farm
When: Sunday May 14, 2017 9am-4pm
Details: There are a lot of activities happening at the farm this weekend, including sheep shearing on Sunday starting at 9 and going until 4pm.

Sunday Explorers @ Stamford Nature Center
When: Sunday May 14 2017 12-4pm
Where: Stamford Nature Center
Details: "Join for a weekly hike on our nature trails or to meet and feed some of our Heckscher WILD! animals. Explore Heckscher Farm as we greet goats, plant in our organic vegetable garden, peak into our historic barns, and more! We will have some great self-guided crafts and additional animals and exhibits, too, in Overbrook Nature Center. Recommended for ages 5 & up. ”

Mommy’s Lil’ Sprouts @ Greenburgh Nature Center
When: Sunday May 14 2017 1-2pm
Details: “We will gather in the Manor House to read a short story and meet some of our furry friends. Afterward, you’ll plant a variety of seeds to take home and nurture them as they grow. Recommended for ages 3 and up. $5 for members and $8 for non-members.”

Midland School Fair @ Rye
When: Saturday May 13, 2017 10am-2pm
Where: 312 Midland Avenue, Rye, NY
Details: Rain or Shine!  A select portion of the fair will open from 9am - 10am for the Rye RAISE Community.  Don't miss the rock wall, dunk tank, inflatable zip line, bumper cars and prizes! There will also be great food, a DJ and a raffle!

Grug and The Rainbow @ New Victory Theater
When: May 13-May 21 2017
Where: New 42nd St Studio, NYC
Details: For ages 3-5. What does Grug love most? Adventures! The beloved burrawang-born bloke from Down Under returns in GRUG AND THE RAINBOW, an all-new colorful tale. Leaping from the pages of the celebrated series of picture books, Grug, with the help of his friends Cara the carpet snake and Snoot the echidna, sets off on a quest to capture a rainbow that he can call his very own. Featuring playful puppetry and imaginative storytelling, Grug and his mates bound onto the stage and into a host of hilarious situations.

Bicycle Sundays
When: May 14 10am-2pm
Where: Bronx River Parkway.
Details: During Bicycle Sundays, the parkway is open exclusively for bicyclists, joggers, walkers, foot scooters and strollers from Exit 22 at the Westchester County Center to Exit 4 at Scarsdale Road in Yonkers, a round-trip distance of 13 miles.
