Hello Summer! Family Festival @ Neuberger Museum

Details: Welcome summer and celebrate the closing of Kuba Textiles: Geometry in Form, Space, and Time with a day filled with art making, family gallery talks, and music.  Enjoy energizing and interactive performances by expert Congolese drummers, a fun embroidery workshop designed to especially for kids and led by artists from Harlem Needle Arts, and delicious snacks!

Strawberry Jammin Festival @ Fishkill Farm

Luminous Paper Lanterns @ Wave Hill
When: Saturday June 13 2015 10am-1pm
Where: Wave Hill Garden, Bronx, NY
Details: Cut nature shapes from bright, multicolored tissue paper. Then, with a simple, papier-mâché method, use your cut shapes to make festive lanterns to brighten and make magical your summer days and nights. Free, and admission to the grounds is free until noon.

Night of the Horseshoe Crab @ Marshlands Conservancy

Westchester Children's Museum Open @ Rye
Westchester Children's Museum is now open for the season. It is located on the boardwalk at the Playland in Rye. The museum’s hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.  http://discoverwcm.org/

Children Zoo Reopened @ Bronx Zoo
The Children's Zoo at the Bronx Zoo has been upgraded and reopened on May 30.
