Superhero Training @ Armonk Library
When: Saturday, July 18 2015 11am-11:30am
Details: Come dressed ready to be a superhero and complete our superhero obstacle course.  After you complete the obstacle course have you picture taken as a flying hero and enjoy a snack.  Please bring an old blanket, dog/cat food, etc. to be donated to a local animal shelter and be a superhero to some animals in need.

Floating Flowers @ Wave Hill Garden
When: Saturday July 18 2015 10am-1pm
Where: Wave Hill Garden, Bronx, NY
Details: Collage and piece together a mixture of buoyant materials cut from recycled foam trays, colorful foam sheets and reeds to make a lotus flower look-alike or other fanciful floral creation of your own imagining. Keep it as a small sculpture—or see if it floats! Free, and admission to the grounds is free until noon.

Jurassic Rock Family Music Fest @ Field Station, NJ

Come Out & Play Field Day and Family Day @ Governors Island, NYC

Details: Come Out & Play is a free festival for players of all ages. Each year Field Day showcases spectacular new field games & sports for people to play. Family Day provides a day of field games for the whole family to play together.

Puppet Show Family Day @ Bruce Museum
When: Sunday July 19, 2015 1-4pm
Details: Magpie Puppets will entertain children and adults with an interactive puppet show: The Emperor’s New Clothes. Craft activities will take place in the education workshop. Free with admission.

Family Campout @ Greenburgh Nature Center
When: Saturday July 18 2015 5:30pm to Sunday July 19 8:30am
Details: You supply the tent and sleeping bag; we supply the nature, food, and fun! Join us for a barbecue, and then explore our moonlit trails with a naturalist in search of various night creatures. Cap off the evening with S’mores by the fire. Limited to 20 families each night. Reservations required. First-come, first-served. Each tent must include a minimum of one adult. Fee: $50/adult and $25/child. (Member Only)

Planetarium Show @ Hudson River Museum
When: Saturdays and Sundays
Where: 511 Warburton Ave, Yonkers, NY 10701
Details: For the weekends in July, 12:30pm show is Tycho to the Moon. 2pm show is the Sky Tonight. 3:30pm show is We are Astronomers.

Westchester Children's Museum Open @ Rye
Westchester Children's Museum is now open for the season. It is located on the boardwalk at the Playland in Rye. The museum’s hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday.  http://discoverwcm.org/

Shakespeare in the Park @ The Delacorte Theater in Central Park
