Details: The New Jersey Festival of Ballooning is the largest summertime hot air balloon and music festival in North America and is the premiere family entertainment attraction in New Jersey. Held annually at Solberg Airport in Readington, NJ, the festival truly has something for everyone! From twice daily mass ascensions of up to 125 special shape and sport hot air balloons, to headlining concerts, non-stop family entertainment, hundreds of crafters and vendors, great food, fireworks, a balloon glow, and more, the festival is jam-packed with stuff to do. Peekskill Music Festival

Details: This is the 8th annual Peekskill music festival. It has become one of the Hudson Valle's premier summer musical events, drawing thousands of people from the tri-state area each year. There will be two stages of great music, food, auto show and artisan fair.

Fancy Fireflies @ Wave Hill Garden
When: Saturday and Sunday July 26-27, 2014 10am-1pm
Where: Wave Hill Garden, Bronx, NY
Details:Explore the exhibition of photographs by Gregory Crewdson in the Glyndor Gallery. Make a tiny, sparkly firefly to hang on a found stick to light your way throughout the day and, using a special dyeing technique, create a dreamy, firefly-filled nightscape. Free, and admission to the grounds in free until noon.
Pick Your Own Peaches and Apricots @ Lawrence Farms Orchards
When: This weekend 9am - 4pm
Where: 306 Frozen Ridge Rd, Newburgh, NY 12550
Details: Apricot picking should have started already. Peach picking should start around this weekend and will ripen on and off throughout August. Please call the farm 845-562-4268 to check fruits availability.
