Harvest Fest 2014 @ Westchester Ridge Hill
When: Saturday Oct 25, 2014 12-4pm
Where: Ridge Hill Mall, Yonkers
Details: HarvestFest will include center-wide TRICK-OR-TREATING, as well as seasonal food and harvest-themed festivities. The event will feature face-painting, pumpkin decorating, pony rides, a petting zoo and more!

The Musical Book Party @ Larchmont, NY
When: Saturday Oct 25, 2014 2-4pm
Where: The Voracious Reader, Larmont, NY
Details: Educator, local author and "music mom," Amy Nathan, shares her newest book, The Musical Parent's Survival Guide: A Parent-to-Parent Conversation. Ms. Nathan will be accompanied by Jean Young, of Music Together, who helps our very youngest discover the joys of music, as well as a 5th grade string ensemble from the Chatsworth Avenue and Murray Avenue string orchestras. Larchmont Music Academy students will offer a flute ensemble and rock trio.

Scarecrows and Pumpkins Parade @ Greenburgh Nature Center
When: Sunday October 26, 2014 11am-3pm
Where: Greenburgh Nature Center
Details: A fun Halloween event for young children. Follow friendly scarecrows along our pumpkin trail and meet storybook characters along the way. Come in costume and enjoy cider, treats, tattoos, and more. Fee if pre-registered by Oct. 25: Members $5 per person, Non-members $10 per person, Children under 2 free (on-line registration only). Fee day of event: Members $8 per person, Non-members $15 per person, Children under 2 free.

Hawks Take Flight @ Wave Hill Garden

Tours for Four @ MOMA

Details: Look, listen, and share ideas while you explore modern and contemporary art. Movement, drawing, and other gallery activities give everyone the chance to participate. Each month a new theme is introduced. Note: Kids must be four years old to attend this program. Younger siblings will be allowed to accompany the group, but the participating child must be four. Admission is free. No preregistration. Tickets are distributed at the Education and Research Building reception desk starting at 10:00 A.M.
