Winter is said to be the wolves' favorite time of year. If you are in Westchester, be sure to visit the Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem. They offer many great programs for kids.
Pack Chat for Kids
Pack Chat for Kids (age-appropriate 4-8) is the best introduction to wolves for families with young children. This is an exciting time for wolves, they're out searching for prey as their growing pups experience their first winter season. Guests will visit Ambassador wolves Atka, Alawa and Zephyr as well as the WCC’s critically endangered red wolves and Mexican gray wolves.
Pack Chat for Kids takes place a few times each month, including
