Details: Annual Truck Day. All ages welcome. Come admire, climb in, learn about, and even ride the various trucks arrived from as close as the firehouse next door to as far away as Kingston, NY.

Mark Twain Garden Adventure @ Wave Hill

WHere: Wave Hill Garden, Bronx, NY
Details: Go on a grand scavenger hunt, as Wave Hill’s illustrious resident Mark Twain did on his world comedic tour. Gather “passport” stamps from each garden area, as well as notes and images, for your own personal booklet and adventure story. Share your story with others or package it as a gift for Dad! Free, and admission to the grounds is free until noon.

Nature Walk and Honeybee Time @ Greenburgh Nature Center

11:30am TEACHING TRAILS: Guided Trail Experience through the woodland forest. Discover who left that track, which tree makes the best animal home, or which mushrooms make the best dinner. Program runs approximately 45 minutes. FREE!
2pm WHAT'S THE BUZZ WITH HONEYBEES? – Bring Dad to learn about the busy life of a honeybee hive with a naturalist. The program will include a taste test of some local honeys. Members $5, Non-members $8
