Details: This is the last weekend of the exhibit of the Chinese Art of the Qin and Han Dynasties. Featuring more than 160 objects of ancient Chinese art, this major international loan exhibition explores the unprecedented role of art in creating a new and lasting Chinese cultural identity.

Warhol Summer Bash Family Day @ Bruce Museum
When: Sunday July 16 2017 1-4pm
Where: Bruce Museum
Details: “Join us for a groovy, good time! Fun, hands-on activities from inspired by the exhibition Spring into Summer with Warhol and Friends! A rockin’, sixties and seventies-inspired music performance by Little Rockers at 2:00 pm, This 45-minute experience will include musical activities with instruments and movement for a totally unique rock show.  Performance is recommended for ages 2 - 8. Seating limited. From 1:30 - 3:30 pm, artist Kayti Didriksen will guide families to create an Andy Warhol-inspired sidewalk chalk mural. Participants will cut will cut floral stencils from colored paper, mix a spray chalk, ‘spray’ flowers using the stencil, and finish the work by creating grass "lines" resembling Andy Warhol’s 1964 Flower print on the walkway in front of the Museum.”

Edible Science and Planetarium Show

Where: Stamford Museum and Nature Center
Details: Edible Science @ 12:30 pm.“Why do marshmallows turn brown in the campfire? Why is pizza dough stretchy? How do we make maple syrup? As part of our Market Madness programs, discover the answers to these yummy questions in our new Edible Science series as we create, cook, concoct, and eat!”
“Summer Stars Planetarium Shows @ 2 - 3 pm.  Join us to search the summer night sky ... during the day! Discover some of the common constellations of the summer and the stories behind them. Family Overnight Campout @ Greenburgh Nature Center
When: Saturday to Sunday (5:30pm-8:30am)
Details: “You supply the tent and sleeping bag, we supply the nature, food, and fun! Join us for a barbecue, and then explore our moonlit trails with a naturalist in search of various night creatures. Cap off the evening with storytelling and s’mores by the fire. Pirate Quest @ Philipsburg
Where: Philipsburg Manor, Sleepy Hollow, NY
When: Every weekend in July and August 9:30-10:30am - Entry every 15 mins.

Bicycle Sundays
When: July 16, 2017 10am-2pm
Where: Bronx River Parkway.
Details: During Bicycle Sundays, the parkway is open exclusively for bicyclists, joggers, walkers, foot scooters and strollers from Exit 22 at the Westchester County Center to Exit 4 at Scarsdale Road in Yonkers, a round-trip distance of 13 miles.

Festival of Air Ballooning
